1000 lbs. of therapy

View from the kitchen window over the sink. Noble, the beautiful boy wanders the pasture, relaxing in the breeze. He is literally 1000 lbs. worth of therapy. Gentle, always happy to see you!

Best part is he'll meet you anywhere in the pasture and listen.

The Amish Built barn on the farm. Slide open the huge doors and step into a quiet, peaceful space with plank board floors, lofts for hay and home to many, many bats up along the rafters. We love the bats as they control the mosquitoe population and don't cause us any trouble at all. Other than the horse, the bats and toads are much appreciated here on the farm.

All in a Days Work

I came home to find this huge load of hay, freshly bailed, resting along side our barn. We have a few pastures that we allow to grow for hay. Gives a new perspective to "all in a days work."  It was nearly 95 degrees today and this was only the first hay wagon they filled on this particular day.
